Are you crazy about your dog? Of course you are, we all are! They enrich our lives and make us better, more empathetic creatures. We learn lots about ourselves from our dogs. They make us smile after a long day and are the source of non-stop giggles from our kids. As they say, we have our dog for a period of our lives but to our dog, we are their whole life. Wouldn’t it be great if we could treat our favorite pet every once in a while? Sounds like we now can with BarkBox!
BarkBox Review ~ What Is It?
BarkBox is a monthly subscription site that you can join to receive treats and toys for your favorite pet. When you sign up for the program, it is a simple 3-step process. First, tell them what size your dog is, secondly, choose which plan you want (depending on how much you want to spend) and then wait for delivery of your BarkBox. It is very simple.
BarkBox Review ~ What I Like
In addition to getting great toys and treats for my dog every month, I really love that BarkBox gives a percentage of all profits to various dog rescue organizations. According to their site, BarkBox contributes to any rescue, shelter, or non-profit organization that helps change the lives of dogs in need.
BarkBox Review ~ What I Didn’t Like
What is not to like? The toys and treats are graded and given according to the size of your dog. For large dogs like our greyhound, Barkbox will deliver treats and toys that are appropriate for her size. If there is any down side, I suppose it is that our dog (Scarlet) has a very sensitive stomach and some of the treats in the Barkbox may upset her tummy.
BarkBox Review ~ Overall Thoughts
Overall, I think that BarkBox is a great value. I have a greyhound and two small kids, so it is a fun surprise every month for our beloved Scarlet, as well as a fun ritual for our kids! They love opening the BarkBox and checking out the new treats and toys.
If you love your dog, BarkBox is a MUST!
